Still plodding along. Forget my food diary. Who's actually reading it anyway?I've been a bit depressed about the whole thing. John is losing weight somehow. He lives on fat: Party pies, sausage rulls, hot dogs, hot chips, pastries, bread etc. Then on his days off he drinks lots of beer. I worry about his diet coz for a grown, overweight man, it's so bad! He doesn't intentionally exercise either and doesn't even try to lose weight.
I, on the other hand, try to cut out as much crap as possible. I eat salady stuff, mountain bread/wraps, dairy, as much veg as i can fit in. I weight 30 kilos [about 60lbs] more than him, but i have smaller portions [probably still too big]. I don't intentionally exercise a lot, but it's much more than his nothing. I drink bourbon in cans a few times a week, which is really sugary, but the calories are the same as his beer. And i've been on a friggen weight loss Yo-Yo for 4-5 years!
For years now, i've nagged him about his asking for a heart attack. And now he is losing weight for no physically obvious reason.
And what makes it worse is that he is being quite smug about it. Suddenly HE is telling ME what i'm eating wrong!! [while he's stuffing his face with pastry, mind you!]
I should be happy for him for losing weight, but i'm not, i'm resenting the shit out of it!!
I love John. He's an absolutely awesome husband. But i can see this either causing a big wedge, or some awesome competitiveness!

Think I'd resent it too, weight loss can be so unfair.
I hate Dr Phil.
that is all!
If I were you, I'd get him to the doctor. Unexplained weight-loss is not good. Especially if his diet is so rubbish!
