Being Great

On Tuesday i had a bit of a blow out and ate more than i should with no exercise. I sat on the couch and started with the one whole self loathing thing that us fatties do. But it only lasted a little while. I decided i wasn't going there, got up and brushed my teeth so i couldn't eat any more even it i was tempted, and i did the exercise i wasn't planning to do. That bought my calorie intake down to almost within range. I felt so proud of myself and liberated after that. Like i'd beaten the first boss on a video game :oD

I've been working on the energy drinks. The day before yesterday, i had none, yesterday i had one and today i've had one. I'll eventually wean myself off them.

The meeting yesterday was good. There were 5 people, including me. We planned a bring & share picnic for next week. Bringing our healthiest dish [and the recipe], and meet at a fairly private and shady park. I'm looking forward to that!

For the meetings, i prepare healthy snacks. When everyone had gone today, Daniel helped himself to the leftovers - enjoying in particular the tzatziki dip - not letting me take it away lol

He's so cute!

This week i lost 600gms [1.3lbs], bringing my total loss this year to 7.4 kilos [16.3lbs] and i'm happy with that! :o). Here is a pic of 1 pound of fat. Kinda puts the little losses into perspective huh?
